Slow, Sensory Self-Care

Somedays December looks like: texting your bestie about the stress of a last-minute work project while sipping matcha, juggling ten reusable bags as you race to Trader Joe’s before they sell out of eggnog. Crap! You freeze mid-crosswalk, suddenly wondering, “Did I turn off the stove this morning?”

This time of year can be chaotic: parties, presents, deadlines, and the everyday ups and downs of just being human. How do we navigate the chaos while still taking care of ourselves and enjoying this festive season?

Slowing down and tuning into our senses is a way to come back home to the present moment.
While our minds jump between the past and future, our senses ground us in the now.

Through sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste, we reconnect to our bodies, our awareness, and ourselves. Presence deepens our connection to life, gives us clarity about what we need, and gives us choice in how we respond to whatever comes our way.

Part gentle movement, part sensory exploration, part breathwork, this 75 min container is a space for you to slow down into your sensory body.

Whether you’re worn down from rushing around, craving space just for you, or feeling full from all the food, drink and family, this space is for you to recharge by coming into presence.

Please bring a cozy layer of clothes, an eye pillow if you have one, and your blanket if you desire. Exchange is $22-$33.
